Vacation Over

Monday, May 19th, 2008

Welcome back blog fans for another exciting week of pop culture reporting. It is finale week for on Fox. House is going to risk his life to save Wilson’s other girlfriend, Amber, the first one being House himself. For those who haven’t kept up with the goings on this season Amber is a House with a vagina. Bones also wraps up this week. Last week would have been the perfect cliff hanger with Seely getting shot, but no we had to throw in another episode bringing back a villain of the past. Then there is that other show on Fox.

This week will wrap up another non cliff hanger, and may well be as much of a disappointment in America’s taste of music since Macarena. The question on American Idol this week will not be who is better, but who has the bigger fan base. In some respects I want Archuleta to win this so he can go make a sucky one hit wonder album and then disappear until VH-1 needs another burnout to sit next to Ace Frehley, Danny Bonaduce, and C.C. DeVille.

Finally let’s wrap up last week’s less than stellar news. Moments after California’s High Court announced gays could marry (more…)

American Idol Has Its Finalists

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

Well we are almost done and with any luck we won’t have to hear any song massacres tonight.

Fantasia sang I muted her. Judges babbled a bit, I went to the bathroom. We had some blah, blah, blah about Archuleta and his trip home, which I didn’t pay much attention to.

I am yawning a lot and think the Bones commercial is more interesting the anything I have seen tonight. Syesha had some blah, blah, blah.

I watched David Cook’s homecoming simply because I am a Missouri boy feeling a bit homesick. I recognized many of the place and felt better. (more…)
