[ad]In my quest to provide an every better experience for all my readers I have added a new feature in the way of the WP Link Directory. This handy plugin allows site owners to make use of the constant flow of internet traffic. Whether you are actively promoting your wordpress based site or not, this plugin also comes with some handy searchable identifiers. Like CommentLuv, NoFollow Free and KeywordLuv blogs using the WP Link Directory can seach out blogs using it by searching for “Powered by WP Link Directory“. If you don’t want potential spammers finding you that way their is the option of removing the text link. There is also the option of requiring a reciprocal link for sites of a designated page rank to increase your own backlinks and a nofollow option.

Rock and Roll Rebel David Cook
Tuesday, May 27th, 2008Just when you thought you had seen the last of American Idol for a while, it is hot on the Google Trends radar. This season’s winner David Cook is dating American Idol Season 2 contestant Kimberly Caldwell. Just image the shock and dismay that must be running through the music industry right. David Cook, a reasonably attractive rock star guy or so I am lead to believe by my wife, is dating a super hot blond. That is not the shocking part of it though. With all the publicity over dozens of other musicians being involved underage girls or accused of rape, Cook appears to being going against the grain. Not only is Kimberly Caldwell of legal age and having a consensual relationship with David Cook, she is actually older than him. Go David! What a way to be a rock and roll rebel…

Tribute To Sydney Pollack
Tuesday, May 27th, 2008I woke up this morning to another Hollywood legend having left the world. The Talented Mr. Pollack has forever changed Lanes.
His greatest moment in film in my opinion is without a doubt Tootsie. Even twenty six years later, the film still stands. Not only is the direction wonderful, but Sydney’s role as Dustin Hoffman’s agent was fabulously played. Not only is the movie great, but without Hoffman in drag could we have ever accepted Bobby De Niro as Captain Shakespeare.
He never been one of my favorites, but his accomplishments deserve every firm honor we’ve paid him. There may be a mountain of film greats, but without Sydney Pollack, it has become a little colder.

Monday, May 19th, 2008Welcome back blog fans for another exciting week of pop culture reporting. It is finale week for on Fox. House is going to risk his life to save Wilson’s other girlfriend, Amber, the first one being House himself. For those who haven’t kept up with the goings on this season Amber is a House with a vagina. Bones also wraps up this week. Last week would have been the perfect cliff hanger with Seely getting shot, but no we had to throw in another episode bringing back a villain of the past. Then there is that other show on Fox.
This week will wrap up another non cliff hanger, and may well be as much of a disappointment in America’s taste of music since Macarena. The question on American Idol this week will not be who is better, but who has the bigger fan base. Will all the middle aged women formerly in love with Clay Aiken profess their love for a teen idol that they are sure likes girls this time? Will those who are about to rock stand with David Cook? In some respects I want Archuleta to win this so he can go make a sucky one hit wonder album and then disappear until VH-1 needs another burnout to sit next to Ace Frehley, Danny Bonaduce, and C.C. DeVille.
Finally let’s wrap up last week’s less than stellar news. Moments after California’s High Court announced gays could marry (more…)
