n Walsh the host of the long running fox show America's Most Wanted

John Walsh was the host of the long running Fox show America's Most Wanted

Spoilers for Fringe, Numbers and Merlin in this edition.

After more than 25 years, one of the country’s most famous cold cases has finally been closed. Police in Florida named Ottis Toole, who died in prison in 1996 as the suspected murderer of Adam Walsh, son of America’s Most Wanted Host John Walsh. Adam disappeared in 1981 and weeks later his head, but not the rest of his remains were found. His death spurred John into becoming on of the leading advocates for missing children and launching America’s Most Wanted. Toole had twice confessed to the murder but had recanted both times. Police would not elaborate on why Toole was their suspect or what evidence they had. John Walsh was quoted as saying, “We needed to know. We needed to know. And today we know. The not knowing has been a torture, but that journey’s over.”

Jay Leno will not be appearing on his rival’s show anytime soon. David Letterman apparently hinted to Rolling Stone in September that he would like to have Jay on as a guest the first night after Jay’s retirement as host of The Tonight Show. If any offer was legitimately made, it happened before Leno signed the deal with NBC that will have him on the network five nights a week. But Leno did not turn down the possibility of a future visit. “(It) would be fun to do sometime,” Leno said. “Doing his show in the ’80s, going on and zinging back and forth, that was the most fun for me of anything I ever did in show business.”

On Fox’s hit Fringe, the John Scott character may not be coming back to life, but his current state of being is going to be a major storyline come January. So far, Olivia has enjoyed only the benefits of her mind-meld with her dastardly former lover, but there are also drawbacks. Those who have been wondering about the BBC hit Merlin coming to American TV, wonder no more. NBC will most likely be airing it summer of 2009. On Numbers, John Glover will be reprising his role as psychic Samuel Kraft in an episode penned by none other than series regular Peter MacNicol.

Jolie On Motherhood Headbangers Celebrate 20th TV Odds and Ends

Friday, October 10th, 2008

What’s Hot is kicking it old school today, so get out the acid washed jeans, the mullets and lighters and let’s go! Spoilers for Smallville, Prison Break and The Sarah Connor Chronicles in this issue.

Angelina Jolie reveals to W magazine that she never intended to get pregnant, but that falling in love with Brad Pitt changed her mind. “I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to (getting pregnant),” she says. “I suddenly wanted to. It’s one of those things you can’t explain.” Jolie graces the cover of the magazine in a photo taken by Pitt. The photo shows her breastfeeding one of her newborn twins (though nothing is visible and it’s quite tasetfully done). “I’m with a man who’s evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created,” she says. “He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier.” (more…)

SYTYCD Returns With 8 Couples

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

This week on Dance Dance Revolution So You Think You Can Dance we start of as usual with the beautiful Cat Deeley. We can not see through enough of Cat’s dress. What a shame! As short as the dress actually is it isn’t short enough for me, nor do I expect that we will get any really good camera angles of the woman I would give my right nut for.

The eight returning couples are Twitch and Kherington Payne, Courtney Ann Galiano and Gev, Chris and Comfort, Will and Jessica King, Kourtni Lind and Matt, Thayne and Chelsea, Mark and Chelsie Hightower, and Katee Sheen and Joshua. In case I didn’t say it before Cat’s dress isn’t short enough for me.
