Everyone Googles Sometimes

Yes it would appear that everyone Google sometime and they are looking for the most import parts of popular culture. If they Google it enough it might even end up with more than its fifteen minutes of fame. The 1963 hit Surfin Bird by The Trashmen is certainly a song that has had more than its share of fame and is currently topping the Google Top 100. From The Trashmen we move on to Iceland and their economy which is the the trash just as much as ours. Maybe Bjork should hold a benefit concert for the government. I would pay good money assuming I actually had any to see The Sugarcubes.

Moving on from one musical form to a musical family, we find the Cyrus family in the news. Trace tops the ticker for google, but Miley Cyrus aka Destiny Cyrus is never far behind. I have not yet heard anything by Trace Cyrus of Metro Station but I am going to guess that it is overproduced crap with so much spin and polish that it will sell just on name affiliation alone. Speaking of names I just have figured out the naming scheme yet for Billy Ray Cyrus. He appears to suffer the same sort of complex as Sarah Palin, but just not as bad. Maybe the Appalachian form of WTF isn’t as bad as the Alaskan strain. You decide is Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper, and Trig better or worse that Trace, Brandi, Christopher Cody, Destiny Hope (aka Miley), Braison Hope, and Noah Lindsey. What the hell kind of name for a girl is Noah.

From Patriarch to Hiro, we are sure to learn more back story tonight on Heroes. Also in the realm of TV we have WWE No Mercy Results which isn’t a Pamela Anderson Hugh Hefner smackdown. She recently proved she has the body of a twenty year old appearing at Hef’s birthday party. Of course Hef being Hef proved he had the body of a twenty year old and flaunted several naked girls that age for all the men to drool over. It must be good to be Hef.

More No Mercy Results come out of the political sector. It appears that Lying Johnny aka the Republican Candidate for president, The GOP Monster, Grandpa Forgetful, and Senator John McCain will be in need of an easy bib when he sputters about the things being brought back into play by Sarah Palin. She just can’t seem to keep her mouth shut and has to keep bringing up Barack Obama pals around with terrorists, then she mocked Joe Biden for canceling a political event because his mother in law died. Sarah Palin should watch what she says about old people and their habit of death, since there are quite a lot of people who don’t ant to be reminded what would happen if President John McCain would croak. I doubt that will happen since we are now remembering to dredge up Charles Keating, Keating economics, Keating five, Keating 5, keatingeconomics.com and also sorts of other problems for John McCain not to mention he says he was against the bailout even though he voted for it and pushed others to do the same. Way to be a maverick there John.

Moving on from the blood sport of politics I’d like to mention you can watch True Blood episode 5 online. I of course still need to watch True Blood Episode 1 (true blood s01e01). I also need to get back into the habit of watching Dexter. The latest episode of Dexter for those wondering is Dexter Season 3 Episode 2 (Dexter s03e02). Maybe a little later we will have some Julie Benz picspam. There is very little hotter than her in the school girl outfit from Buffy, unless it would be her nude and in the flesh right here right. I am off to contemplate this last notion for a bit.
