Vampires The Gay Way

While Twilight was written for teens, and more precisely for teen girls to sink their good girl teeth into, the biggest following by far is fat middle aged women followed by gay men. That isn’t to say there aren’t a lot of teenage girls screaming to see Edward on the screen do some brooding. Personally, I think they would be better off watching Angel, his brooding is so much better. Personally David Boreanaz is much better on Bones than he ever was on Angel or Buffy the Vampire Slayer (BTVS), but that is a totally different discussion. This is about brooding Edward Cullen, though I think I would have rather watched a much happier Edward Scissorhands after reading seeing the reviews.

I look at his guy and the words dumb ass come to mind. Has he heard of safety goggles? Common place chemistry is fun, entertaining, and educational with your kids. On the other hand if you aren’t following good safety procedures you deserve to become a Darwin Awards candidate and not the recipient of health care for the disabled.

In the world of tributes this has got to be one of the strangest I have seen recently. Whether you loved Issac Hayes because of Shaft, or because he was Chef (”Hello Children!”), or you loathed him because he was the gay lover of Tom Cruise, I mean the coreligionist of Tom Cruise he was always memorable. If ukeles aren’t enough of a tribute let me have a moment to give you my favorite Issac Hayes song from South Park, Chocolate Salty Balls.
